The Oregon FFA Foundation Mission
The mission of the Oregon FFA Foundation is to coordinate sustainable, long-term funding for agriculture education and the Oregon FFA.
When you make a gift to the Oregon FFA Foundation, you are investing in the future of agriculture and the students of today who will be our agriculture-industry leaders tomorrow.
In 2011 Oregon FFA became financially independent from the Oregon Department of Education, no longer recieveing any tax support to fund the critical programs of the FFA. The Oregon FFA Foundation was established to meet the financial needs and is the primary source of funding for the Oregon FFA Association. The foundation gives companies, organizations and individuals opportunities to provide financial resources and cooperation in support of FFA programs and other agricultural education organizations.
Foundation sponsors and donors make possible the award and recognition programs, scholarships, service learning activities, global engagement programs, Oregon FFA convention functions, educational materials, teacher training and much more.
FFA programs are funded through private donations and sponsorships at the local, state and national levels. The Oregon FFA Foundation, a separately-registered nonprofit organization, works with business and industry, organizations and individuals to raise fund to support Oregon FFA activities and recognize members’ achievements.
